Make Pepper Chicken Fry in just 4 quick steps…,
1.2 tbsp – Black Peppercorns (Crushed)
2 – Boneless Chicken Breasts (Small Cube)
1 tsp – Coriander Powder
0.5 tsp – Turmeric Powder
2 tsp – Red Chilli Powder
1 tbsp – Ginger Garlic Paste
3 tbsp – Rice Flour
1 tbsp – Coconut Oil
15 – Dried Coconut Slices
1 tsp – Mustard seeds
18 – Curry Leaves
1 – Lemon (Juice)
1 – Egg
Oil (for Deep-frying)
Step 1 : Preparing Spice Mix
Combine chicken pieces, salt, coriander powder, turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tbsp crushed peppercorns and egg in a bowl and mix well. Then Finely chop 5-6 curry leaves and add alongwith lemon juice and mix well. Finally add ginger-garlic paste and rice flour and mix well.
Step 2 : Deep-fry the Chicken Pieces
Deep-fry chicken pieces till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
Step 3 : Preparing Coconut Mix
Heat coconut oil in anon-stick pan. Add dried coconut slices and sauté till well browned and crisp. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add remaining curry leaves, 2 tsps crushed peppercorns, little water and mix well. Then add salt, remaining red chilli powder and cook for a minute.
Step 4 : Final
Add fried chicken and toss to mix. Let it get heated through and Serve hot.
